Q. What is the shelf life of the online products?
A. We sell many different  categories and grades of meat which all have a varying shelf life due to many different factors. To ensure safe storage always handle products with care so as not to puncture the vacuum seal and store between 2-4 degrees. Consume within seven days.

Q. Is your meat grown and processed in Australia?
A. Yes, all of our fresh meats are 100% Australian grown and produced, when shopping with Somerset Meats you are supporting Australian farmers and Australian Jobs.

A. Yes, we stock many halal products, please contact us for full details.

Q. Where do Somerset Meats deliver to?
A. We currently deliver to Newcastle, The Hunter Valley & Lake Macquarie. You can check your delivery address against our interactive map by clicking here.

Q. How can I claim free delivery?
A. When your shopping cart value reaches $50.00 AUD the free delivery option will become available during checkout.

Q. When will my order arrive?
A. Delivery can occur between 7am and 3pm on your delivery day.
    If your order is placed after 12am (midnight) it will not be delivered until the FOLLOWING business day

Q. Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
A. Someone should always be home to receive your delivery, the delivery will be left at your front door if there is nobody home to accept your order, it will be assumed that you will back soon to pack away in safe storage temperatures.

Q. Is delivery NSW health authority compliant?
A. As per NSW Food Authority regulations, any vans that transport meat must be compliant and contain an in date NSW Food Authority sticker on it. All our vehicles are registered as required

Q. What if I live outside of the delivery zone?
A. You can 'Click and Collect' your order from our depot in Sandgate.

Q. When can I pick up my order.
A. Your order will be ready from 10AM on the NEXT business day if your order is placed before 12am (midnight).
